9'5" Arenal Modern Mal featured The outline is relatively straight9'5" x 22 7 8" x 2 7 8" Michael Arenal's Modern Mal is a speedy convex bottom longboard inspired by late 60s Aussie sleds. The outline is nicely hipped, with the wide point pulled back from center, and a rather pulled in nose and square tail. The rails are bladey, creating an engaged hull like rail feel that knifes like butter. On the bottom, Michael kept the contours completely convex throughout, with a moderate belly that extends from nose to tail.
